George Sands (Being Human)

George: My mother’s maiden name is Herod, my internet password is ‘password1’, I’m indifferent about all competitive sports, and I prefer lager to beer. I don’t understand fishing, what is fishing? I’m scared of cancer, I voice hypocritical objections to drive-through takeaways, and I lost my virginity on a canal boat in Tring.
Sam: Favourite colour?

Dexter Morgan (Dexter)

They make it look so easy, connecting with another human being, it’s like no one ever told them it’s the hardest thing in the world .. You can’t do one thing to make up for another, that’s what Jordan Chase said. But he’s wrong, we do that all the time. That is the way the world works, we try to make things right, even me. Lumen said I gave her her life back, a reversal of my usual role. Well the fact is she gave me mine back too. And I’m left with not what she took from me but what she brought; eyes that saw me, finally who I really am. And this certainty that nothing, nothing is set in stone, not even darkness. While she was here she made me think for the briefest moment that I might have a chance to be human. But wishes, of course, are for children.
